Papers, 1925-1935.

The collection consists of a typescript, never published, titled "A Distinguished Family of Sportsmen in South Carolina." It is a narrative biography of Colonel Barnard Elliott (1740-1778), William Elliott (1788-1863), and Ambrose Elliott Gonzales (1857-1926). In addition, there is correspondence from 1925 to 1935 relating to the Elliott family and miscellaneous notes. Several photographs of Elliott portraits and other pictures which were to be included in the book are also included.
